The first pillars: Testifying that there is no right to be worshiped as god but Allah and Muhammad’s rights is the messenger of Allah.
Shahada (testimony) it has a meaning that should be known following a Muslim practice it. As for those who say it verbally but do not know what this means and do not practice it then there is no benefit whatsoever to the creed.
